Funeral Flowers - PENRITH

The passing of a loved one is a sad time and saying Good-bye can be one of the most difficult moments in life .

At Flowers by Valerie Jayne I create each funeral piece to fit with your requests. Designs can portray a lifelong passion, a lifestyle, be formal or informal or just include a favourite colour.

Ordering flowers:
This can be done directly - simply give me a ring - to either chat over the phone -or arrange a time to call in The Studio. At Flowers by Valerie Jayne we have an area set aside for you to come in and talk  about how you feel the flowers should reflect the life of your loved one.  Alternatively, ordering flowers can be done via your undertaker - simply ask them to contact me for your flowers.

Range of designs :

• Casket sprays (these are the flowers that classically sit on top of the coffin.
• Single ended spray – this can also sit on top of the coffin – it is classically a tear drop shape and is a good design of there is more than 1 floral tribute to be placed on the coffin top.  
• Wreath a circular design on a ring – this is a popular choice for extended family and friends 
• Posy a circular design covered in flowers 
• Shaped wreaths and posies often these are heart shaped 
• Letters - these can be based or loose.  See the gallery for examples 
• Bespoke and specialist designs – this can be whatever you would like (as long as I can make it!) 
• Biodegradable designs: I have spent a lot of years creating designs that are suitable to woodland burials. 

Pricing of Designs:
This depends entirely on the flower choices and the way the designs are constructed.  Classic designs do tend to follow average price bands but bespoke work often is more labour intensive or biodegradable designs may involve creating a framework to sit the flowers in.
